be willing- the most effective sadhana

" If you perform actions with certain level of awareness, intensity and dispassion, thousand-year meditation can be reduced to ten years. That's what volunteering can do for you."-Sadhguru

When I first started out with Isha, there were many opportunities to participate with various programs, I only wanted to be a participant, not volunteer, because I wanted to make sure that I can see and be with Sadhguru in the event. Years gone by, I often wonder why my spiritual growth is limited, disregard how many times that Sadhguru emphasized the importance of be willing- in everything you do.

Now I know. First be willing, be a volunteer in Isha's events, then gradually, be willing, be a volunteer in everything I do during the day. It does not matter if I am working with Isha , or my own work, it makes no difference, as I give it all at the moment. By doing so, almost every day, I experienced ecstasy here and there, so subtle yet so profound. I am sharing this secret with you, as I hope you and I can reach the highest possibilities in 10 years, not hundreds or thousands of years. Give ourselves up (I mean ego), give it all we can, empty ourselves.

Do it now, when you know Sadhguru is alive and within you. Don't wait till tomorrow, because tomorrow does not exist. Do it now. Leave the complacency of the repetitiveness, notice the boundaries around you, there is more out there, more within.
